What are the Benefits of Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is absolutely hands down one of my favorite things to add onto a facial! Dermaplaning by definition is an esthetic service in which vellus hair (aka peach fuzz) and the layer of dead skin cells, embedded dirt & debris is removed from the skin therefore resurfacing the skin.
A professional dermaplaning session is done by an experienced esthetician which is important for two reasons. First of all: an esthetician is trained to work safely with your skin.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup Recipe for a Healthy Gut & Glowing Skin

Did you know Eminence Organic Skincare is a Hungarian line of products? The origin story is truly amazing. If you want to read more in depth on this topic, please check out my article Why Eminence. In short, many of the recipes for the first products were original Hungarian family recipes.

So when I saw this recipe for Hungarian Mushroom Soup, I couldn’t help but make it myself. I’ve made a few tweaks to my take on the recipe but I’ve included the traditional recipe for you to be able to decide how to make yours.

A person exfoliating their arms with an exfoliant

Why Should I Exfoliate?

Does your skin feel dry even though you moisturize? Do you have rough, uneven texture? Do you have lots of little breakouts? If any of these apply to you, then my first question as an esthetician of ten years is going to be: Do you exfoliate?

Because if your answer is no, then it is very likely it is the cause of your dry, rough skin, uneven texture and clogged pores. I often tell my clients, “Exfoliation is the most important step in your routine.” This is because exfoliation is the step in your skincare ritual that ties in all the other steps.

Almond Twist Moon Milk Recipe For Healthy Sleep & Skin

Moon Milk is essentially tea made with milk instead of water. Meaning it is one of the simplest and tastiest things to make. I really hope you love this concoction I’ve made based on one of my mamma’s Christmas time pastry recipes: the Almond Twist. Although almond extract really brings the most forward flavor, cardamom and cinnamon are the strongest spice notes in this recipe as well as the hint of roasted chicory and chamomile. What Is A Lash Lift, Is It Worth It, And What To Expect

I get asked a lot about the lash lift. Eyelash extensions are wonderful and they have their place in beauty, but a lash lift is ideal for enhancing the natural lash with minimal maintenance and only a few rules to get you started. Clients who dislike the boldness of extensions, become frustrated with the upkeep of eyelash fills, or irritable with all the rules and restrictions of eyelash extensions, will absolutely love a lash lift as a substitute.

New Moon Ritual Bath with candles, crystals, ayurvedic sweets, hot tea, and midnight dahlias.

New Moon Ritual Bath

I used to prefer the Full Moon before I understood the tides of magick. The ritual of charging my crystals under the light of the Full Moon felt more magickal. However, now that I understand the significance, I find myself more drawn to the New Moon. This is because I love enhancing my manifesting magick. A Full Moon for Banishing, a New Moon for Manifesting.

Ayurvedic Mango Energizing Bites

Sugar Free Ayurvedic Mango Energizing Bites Recipe

I am so excited to share this recipe. Mainly because I have gone sugar free for January and it’s not been as easy as I thought. Not that I am the biggest sweets girl, I leave that aspect to my husband. I honestly got into the habit of having something sweet after dinner and now my body just doesn’t feel like meal time is over until I’ve had a treat.
